I found a milk can at a fleamarket. Hubby got the old paint off of it, the rust and sanded it down. He is sprayer by profession so this is what he made for me :)

Spinning Newspaper into Yarn
How cool is that! http://greenupgrader.com/2138/handspun-recycled-newspaper-yarn/ What an awesome way to recycle newspapers. My kiddos are so excited to be doing this in the morning with our "new-recycled" spinning wheel. One wants a rug, one wants a curtain and I just wanna be "green"
Mountain Morning Homeschool: Quilt Book Giveaway
The quilt I made my now 17 year old daughter before she was born.
The quilt made by my great grandma. I want to fix the middle. It has some holes I would like to use my children's clothing fabric to fix. Any ideas on an easy way to fix the holes?
Brandi has the most awesome giveaways! I even went out and bought The Apron Books just because she inspired me with her giveaway. What a wonderful book.
I have a favorite quilt that I want to revamp. It was made by my great grandmother. It was my grammy's favorite (made by her mother in law) It's been loved so much it has a few holes and I want to add squares from my children's clothing. To make it a true heirloom.

Today's Harvest
Our harvest from today. Yummy, here we come salsa :) The kids planted a sassafras tree they found in the woods. Josh loves the smell and wanted on in our yard.
The kids' rooms are about done. A few more finishing touches and they will be. Then on to my room. Ugh! My room is full of my fabric, yarn, fleece and so on and so on. I really need my sewing room done. Hubby wants his billiards room done before winter too. It'll be a busy September.
