I did not go the the local antique store to hunt down all their buttons. Nope not me....
And did not come home with bins and bins of buttons
So I can make button bouquets for my daughter's baby shower. She is due in June and her shower is in April.
The pink ones are for her bouquet and the bright ones are for the centerpieces on the tables.
But did find some awesome bakelite buttons though.....
And some awesome fabric and binding to make camera straps for sale in my store!
Not me I sure don't have an awesome colorful button collection now!

I'm gonna blog the button bouquet process. They are so much fun to make. I am going to the craft store to find pretty leaves to go with my daughters bouquet.

i just learned to sew in January. I started making camera staps covers a couple of weeks ago. i really only wanted one for myslef and now I have made over 10. I am addicted
They are very addicting. I've made myself about 5. Then I have friends who I made for yea about 10 so far. Then my mind gets goind when I see pretty fabric.....yea, hubby's like what are you gonna do with all those straps. Maybe I'll put a few up for sale.
